Now through Saturday (January 9-12) join Prep Dramatics for their winter production of Richard Greenbergh’s Take Me Out. All performances begin at 7 p.m. in O’Keefe Commons. The Friday evening performance will be followed immediately by the annual Dramatics Alumni Homecoming.

Take Me Out – whose 2003 Broadway production earned three Tony Awards, including Best Play – takes place in a baseball locker room over the course of a season, addressing themes including homophobia, racism and masculinity in sports through the lens of star player Darren Lemming and his teammates. Prep’s production is directed by Mr. James Dondero, ’66, P’00. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students, with a $5 student special offered for the Friday performance.

On Friday, January 11, we extend a special invitation to alumni who participated on the stage in dramatic and musical productions, and to those who worked behind the scenes. This annual gathering gives all of us an opportunity to renew old friendships, to make new ones, and most importantly, to strengthen the bond among Prep’s former and present actors and stagehands! The homecoming reception will take place in Prep’s faculty and staff dining room following the play.

For more information on the reception, please email or call 201-547-6413.
