Earlier this month, after a two-year gap, Prep hosted its first blood drive since the fall of 2019. New York Blood Center collected enough blood to provide potentially life-saving treatment to 159 patients.
In all, 53 donors—49 students and 4 adults—rolled up their sleeves to help with this life-saving effort. Another drive will take place in the spring (date TBA), giving the Prep community another opportunity to support the local healthcare community in their efforts to save lives.
