Congratulations to senior Ayush Suri, ’22, who has been named a finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Competition. He is one of approximately 15,000 finalists selected from high schools throughout the United States in the 67th annual competition.

Semifinalists represent the top scorers in each state, among more than 1.5 million students who took the PSAT/NMSQT during their junior year. Semifinalists who additionally show strong performance in the SAT or ACT, their official transcripts, and other academic criteria advance to the finalist level, as Ayush has.

Approximately 7,500 National Merit Scholars will be selected from the pool of finalists this spring, with the recipients to be named later this semester.
